Description

The Scream-X Jr. is the compact refinement of Megabass's Scream-X series. A handmade balsa wood double prop bait that delivers the celebrated HATAKICK surface action of the original Scream-X in a more technically precise, shorter-distance package designed for surgical presentation to spooky and pressured fish. With chopper props positioned at both the front and rear of the twisted balsa body, set to rotate in opposite directions, the Scream-X Jr. generates an intense Hyper Swish Sound and Splash on short jerk input while the body twists and entangles the water to glide straight at the surface. Unlike conventional double swisher lures, the Jr. uses rod work to perform light dog walks and table turns with reduced moving distance, a fierce HATAKICK impact in the smallest possible footprint, approaching the monster where it holds without overrunning the strike zone. The 2005 Yuki Ito belly stamp is the primary authenticity marker on this example, stamped directly on the handmade balsa body as Megabass's method of dating and signing each production run.

The Hasu colourway is the first-listed and flagship colour in the original Scream-X Japan catalogue. A richly iridescent baitfish pattern rendering the Hasu (Japanese asp/chub) in warm brown-amber back tones transitioning through vivid teal-blue and olive-green lateral scales to a silver-pink pearl belly, with a large 3D gold eye and fine holographic scale detailing that shifts colour with every change in light angle, presenting at the surface as a living baitfish rather than an artificial lure.
