Wilder's Fishing & Supply Co. was founded by me, Reece Attard, a lifelong angler, and it's built on a passion for fishing that began long before the business itself.

I grew up in Victoria, spending weekends fishing with my dad and pop, learning the values that many great fishing stories begin with: patience, persistence, respect for nature, and the simple joy of time spent outdoors. Those early days chasing iconic Australian species - bream, flathead, and snapper in saltwater, along with trout, perch, and yellowbelly in freshwater - laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion.

That passion only deepened when I moved to the United States, where I was introduced to the iconic world of bass fishing. What began as curiosity quickly became a defining chapter in my angling journey. Over the next decade, freshwater fishing became more than a hobby, it was a way of life. Immersed in a culture built around innovation, technique, and performance, I gained firsthand experience with some of the world's leading brands, fishing some of the worlds best fisheries.

Returning to Australia in 2020, I brought that knowledge and experience home. Now based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, I've become deeply involved in the Australian bass fishing scene while continuing to pursue some of Australia's most iconic species, including barra, saratoga, jacks, bream, and flathead.

It was through this journey that the vision for Wilder's Fishing & Supply Co. was born.

I founded Wilder's with a simple but powerful goal: to give Australian anglers access to world-class fishing gear, trusted advice, and genuine expertise they can rely on. Wilder's exists to support and celebrate Australia's fishing culture by sourcing premium fishing equipment from around the world, including quality Australian-made products that deserve recognition.

Every brand I partner with and product I offer is carefully selected with purpose. I believe in quality first, gear that's tested, proven, and built to perform in Australian conditions. I believe knowledge matters, and that great customer service starts with honest advice from someone who truly understands fishing.

For me, it's not just about selling a product to make a sale.
