Description
Introduced in 1994, the Live-X Leviathan was the first mass-produced diving minnow in Japan and remains the flagship of Megabass's Live-X series - the lure that defined an era of Japanese bass fishing and established the foundation for everything Yuki Ito would go on to build. The Ito's Custom (SP-C) variant represents a factory-tuned version calibrated by Ito himself for a slower, more deliberate sink rate than the standard SP, giving it an extended pause window at depth that is devastatingly effective during cold-water periods and on pressured fish. Equipped with Megabass's most complex multi-way balancer system, it produces acrobatic short darts and a violent rolling flash that no fat-bodied crankbait of the era could replicate on a twitch.
The Hakusei Muddy Gori Copper is Respect Colour #33 - a darkly rendered benthic baitfish pattern applied to the Live-X Leviathan using taxidermy-grade painting techniques by Megabass factory craftsmen, making it one of the most artistically significant colourways in the entire Respect Colour catalogue.
