Description

The Deep-X 200T is the tungsten-upgraded evolution of Megabass's foundational deep crankbait - featuring a three-position Moving Balancer that shifts to the tail during casting for maximum distance, moves to the front upon hitting the water to dive at a steep angle, then settles to the mid position at depth to produce its signature tight wiggling, high-pitch rolling action that no conventional fat-bodied deep crankbait of the era could replicate. Compact and precisely profiled where most deep crankbaits were shapeless, the 200T presents a realistic baitfish silhouette at depth and responds equally to a steady crank, a stop-and-go retrieve over structure, or a jerkbait-style twitch-and-pause - a tactical versatility that made it one of the most consequential deep crankbaits produced in Japan.

The GG Oikawa Female colourway is the understated counterpart to the dramatic GG Oikawa Male - where the male displays bold breeding colouration, the female oikawa (pale chub) is rendered in its natural, non-breeding state: an olive-brown back fading to clean silver-white flanks with the GG holographic scale detailing providing a subtle, depth-activated flash that reads as a living baitfish rather than a lure. It is a colour built entirely for clear water and high pressure conditions where naturalistic restraint outperforms flash and contrast, and one of the more technically demanding finishes to appreciate until seen at depth doing exactly what it was designed to do.
