Description
The Deep-X 200 features a three-position Moving Balancer System - moving to the tail position during the cast for maximum castability, shifting to the front position upon hitting the water to dive at a steep angle, then moving to the mid position at depth to swim horizontally - allowing it to have the diving depth of a conventional large deep crankbait in a compact, well-defined body that presents a realistic baitfish profile from every viewing angle. This 2000-dated example is the original Deep-X 200 - the pre-T lead-balancer version that preceded the tungsten-upgraded 200T and is today a discontinued cult classic with prices bid up high on New Old Stock originals. As one of the earliest implementations of the Moving Balancer System ever produced, the original Deep-X 200 occupies a foundational position in the history of Japanese crankbait engineering - the proof-of-concept lure that validated the balancer philosophy Megabass would go on to apply across its entire product range.
The GG Moss Back Golden Shad colourway applies the Guanium Ghost holographic finish to a moss green-backed, golden-flanked shad pattern - a natural baitfish rendering that generates the rolling flash the Deep-X 200's tight wiggle is specifically engineered to display at depth.
