Description

The Jackall Magallon Diving is one of the most conceptually distinctive lures in the Magallon family - a jointed suspending jerkbait engineered to perform the walk-the-dog action not at the surface but at depth, a presentation that fish encounter with virtually no frequency from any other lure type. On a steady retrieve it produces a natural tight wobbling action through its jointed body and soft tail; twitch the rod tip and it transitions into an underwater side-to-side walk that no conventional suspending jerkbait can replicate, reaching the 5–7 foot zone where larger fish hold during the colder months. Now discontinued and absent from standard retail channels, the Magallon Diving occupies a specific and increasingly scarce position in the Jackall catalogue as the deep-diving, action-shifting variant of a much-loved platform.

The Oikawa colourway renders the pale chub (oikawa) - one of Japan's most iconic river baitfish - in a naturalistic finish that has proven consistently effective across the Jackall range in clear to lightly stained water conditions.
