Description
The Flying Jack is one of Fish Arrow's most inventive designs. It's a jointed topwater bait built to imitate something no hard lure had copied before: a baitfish chased to the surface and leaping clear of the water to escape. Its signature feature is a pair of clear pectoral fins that catch the water on a sharp rod twitch and launch the lure up and out of the surface. On the pause it settles back like a stunned, exhausted baitfish. The jointed body and flowing soft tail add lifelike movement between jumps. Fish Arrow designed it as a "new category" bait intended to switch on neutral, inactive bass that ignore conventional topwaters.
The Hasu colourway imitates the hasu, a predatory Japanese minnow native to Lake Biwa and a favourite forage fish of Japanese trophy bass. It has a dark olive back, gold-bronze head and gill plate, silver honeycomb-scale flanks with bronze bars, and a translucent olive tail. Fitted with Gamakatsu hooks and presented in Fish Arrow's green box with foam insert.
