Description
Designed and manufactured in Japan at DUO's original Yaizu, Shizuoka headquarters - "Designed by Ultimate Organizer" - the Hacker Slaver SD-Crank MDR63 is a next-generation mid-deep diving crankbait that combines the response of a shad plug, the rattle sonic of a vibration lure, and the obstacle avoidance capability unique to crankbaits in a single 63mm suspending body. Its tapered lip design achieves two simultaneous engineering goals: by mountain-shaping the water surface side of the lip the overall lip size is reduced compared to conventional flat types, reducing air resistance significantly, while simultaneously flattening the back of the lip from its traditional arc shape to generate a sharp wabble-roll action with a straight-lip response feel. A full-weight tungsten centre of gravity transfer system ensures high casting performance and accuracy in headwinds and crosswinds - and the main weight balls and rattle balls use hard tungsten carbide, with the loose-ball main weight and flat-design strike surface creating vibration-class noisy sound and super-sonic rattle performance in a compact crankbait body.
The MDR63 is the deepest-running and rarest variant in the SD-Crank family, reaching 2.5 metres against the SSR's one foot - a fundamentally different tool for a different depth zone. The Lime Chart colourway (Colour P-48) renders a deep green dorsal fading into a vivid lime-yellow flank and belly - a naturally backlit colour combination that presents a strong, clearly defined silhouette at depth while the lime-yellow sides generate flash in the manner of a fleeing baitfish.
