Description
The Daiwa Bass Hunter R is a compact, fat-profiled deep runner crankbait designed in Japan and built around a weight moving system that delivers maximum casting distance for its size. An unusually long-casting deep crankbait in a 50mm body that punches well above its weight class for reaching the 2.5–3.5 metre depth zone. Its super wide wobbling action and real eyes were hallmarks of Daiwa's domestic bass crankbait development during the early-to-mid 2000s, a period when the Bass Hunter R earned a strong following on Japan's lake and reservoir bass circuit before being discontinued.
The Ghost Chart colourway, confirmed directly from the original Japanese packaging as ゴーストチャート, applies a translucent, semi-transparent ghost finish to a chartreuse base, producing a colour that combines the high-visibility reaction appeal of chartreuse with the underwater transparency of a ghost finish, appearing as a glowing, lit-from-within presence rather than a flat opaque colour.
