Description
The Deka ("large") SD scales up Bassday's Feather Crank platform to 50mm, a high-amplitude shallow crankbait engineered to quickly locate and draw in active predators across fast rivers and shallow water, carrying notable weight for its size to deliver strong casting distance and wind penetration. The signature rear feather tail adds a trailing, breathing movement on the pause that distinguishes it from a standard treble-only configuration.
The Ochiayu colourway takes its name from the autumn spawning-phase ayu (sweetfish), a fish deeply woven into Japanese seasonal culture and classical poetry, rendered in the richer, darker tones the species develops as it approaches spawning, distinct from the brighter young-season ayu patterns seen across other Bassday colourways in this collection.
