Description

The Bassday Bustle is a compact, dual-action surface lure built around a concept as simple as it is effective - make noise, make bubbles, and hold the fish's attention on the pause. Its wide cupped mouth spits water on the jerk in the manner of a conventional popper, while Bassday's original metal prop simultaneously churns and bubbles at the tail, producing an acoustic and visual disturbance that exceeds what either mechanism could generate alone. The prop's unique design geometry also reduces lateral sliding during a dog-walk retrieve, keeping the Bustle more precisely in the strike zone than a conventional propbait of this size. Discontinued and no longer available through standard retail channels, the Bustle occupies a specific and fondly remembered position in the Bassday catalogue - a lure that combined topwater versatility into a 45mm package designed for bass, bream, and any surface-feeding species willing to commit to a commotion.
