Description
The Yo-Zuri Oh Bug! known in Japan as the Slavko Bug, is a surface insect imitation lure from Yo-Zuri Co., Ltd.'s original Saga Prefecture facility, built around an insect form body that combines playfulness and functionality in equal measure. Tank-tested and balance-adjusted before release, it produces a distinctive wobbling and wiggling surface action on the retrieve, imitating the helpless struggling movement of a bug or cicada that has fallen onto the water surface - a trigger that draws explosive strikes from bass and other surface-feeding species throughout Japan's summer season. The rear feather hair tail adds a trailing, lifelike movement at rest that extends the lure's effectiveness on the pause. Now completely discontinued and extremely scarce in any condition, the Oh Bug!
The Clear Blue colourway (F208-B174) presents the bug body in a deep blue pearl finish with a large red eye, imitating the blue-black coloration of a water beetle or cicada in the water film.
