Description
The Deep-X 200T is the tungsten-upgraded evolution of the original Deep-X 200, featuring one of the earliest implementations of the Moving Balancer System - a three-position balancer that shifts to the tail during casting for maximum distance, moves to the front upon hitting the water to dive at a steep angle, then settles to the mid position at depth to produce its signature tight wiggling, high-pitch rolling action. Compact and well-defined where most deep crankbaits of the era were fat and shapeless, the 200T presents a realistic baitfish profile from every viewing angle and is equally effective cranked steadily through the strike zone, worked on a stop-and-go retrieve over structure, or twitched and paused in the manner of a jerkbait - a versatility that made it one of the most tactically flexible deep crankbaits ever produced in Japan.
The GG Kasumi Tiger colourway - a tiger pattern named after Lake Kasumigaura, one of the major bass fishing fields in Japan's Kanto region, introduced around 2000 specifically as a Kasumigaura strategy colour at a time when flashy reaction colours dominated tournament thinking - applies the Guanium Ghost holographic finish to a tiger-striped pattern engineered to trigger strikes from the pressured, educated bass of Japan's most heavily fished tournament venues.
