The Megabass Bait-X is a historically significant crankbait within the brand’s lineup, representing one of the earliest plastic lure concepts developed by Megabass and refined through the Ito Engineering design philosophy. Built to maintain continuous contact with structure, it produces a tight, deliberate action that imitates escaping crustaceans and triggers strikes from structure-oriented fish.
Increasingly difficult to source in clean condition, the Bait-X remains a crossover piece valued by both anglers and collectors for its performance and its place in Megabass’ early design history.
