Description
The Jackall RS-225 is a floating medium-diving crankbait developed during the early Lake Police and Jackall era. Designed to reach depths of approximately 7 feet, it features a pronounced wobbling action and loud internal rattle system intended to attract fish through both vibration and sound.
Built for covering water efficiently, the RS-225 excels around points, rock structure, timber, and submerged cover where its buoyant body allows it to deflect off obstacles and recover quickly. Its combination of depth, noise, and aggressive action made it a versatile search bait during the formative years of Japanese crankbait development.
Today, the RS-225 represents an interesting piece of early Jackall history from a period before the TN Series and many of the company's modern flagship lures came to dominate the market.
