Built to maintain continuous contact with structure, it produces a tight, deliberate action that imitates escaping crustaceans and triggers strikes from structure-oriented fish.

This example features the IYB-CT (Ito Yellow Back / Claw Tone) colourway, combining high-contrast chartreuse tones with natural patterning to deliver both visibility and realism. Produced during the early 2000s Ito era, these models reflect a period of detailed craftsmanship and evolving hydrodynamic design.

Increasingly difficult to source in clean condition, the Bait-X remains a crossover piece valued by both anglers and collectors for its performance and its place in Megabass’ early design history.

Wilder's Fishing & Supply Co.
