Its tail-weighted design achieves casting distances disproportionate to its 50mm body, enabling stealth approaches in crystal-clear shallow water where larger baits spook fish on landing. The teaser rear hook adds a trailing breathing movement on the pause that the standard hook configuration cannot replicate, making it equally effective as a stationary target as it is as a walking bait.

This 2012-dated example is an original Baby Pop-X - predating the BFS (Bait Finesse System) designation applied to later production - representing the founding era of the platform before it was refined for ultralight tackle applications. The Modena Bone OB colourway takes its name from Modena, the elegant northern Italian city whose aesthetic refinement Megabass invokes across its bone-series colour palette - presenting an off-white bone body with an orange belly accent that presents as a subdued, naturalistic surface target in clear water conditions where high-visibility colours spook fish rather than trigger them.

Wilder's Fishing & Supply Co.
